Thank you to everyone who attended, supported and presented at the ANZSPR 2024 conference in Yawuru country, Broome WA. We were privileged to learn from the best in the business whilst enjoying the natural beauty, cultural diversity and pace of life of the Kimberley.

The presentations were world class and we could not be more thankful and proud of the speakers who contributed to our scientific program. Special thanks again to our Keynote speaker Mary-Louise Greer (from SickKids, Toronto) and guest speakers Prem Patel (from Great Ormond Street, London) and Michael Temple (from St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis) for joining us and imparting your expertise. From global perspectives on MRI, to deep dives into niche topics and individual centre experiences, to emerging diagnostic and IR therapeutic approaches; our renowned international and local speakers did not disappoint. We were treated to spectacular sunsets, a personal perspective on the history of Broome’s pearling industry courtesy of Rohan Jewellers, imaging technology updates from Siemens, Philips and ChestRad and exceptional wines from Domaine Naturaliste. Rebecca Fielding was predictably adept at troubleshooting and working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure both the academic and social programs proceeded seamlessly.

It was a real privilege meeting and getting to know other ANZSPR members in Broome. I believe the conference further advanced ANZSPR’s aims to foster interdepartmental collaboration and excellence in the field of Paediatric Radiology.

On behalf of my co-convenors, Dr Craig Gibson and Professor Derek Roebuck, I would like to express my immense gratitude to all who contributed to and attended the conference and I look forward to our next opportunity to meet.
